What is "MenoPoise?"

To define "MenoPoise," we must first think of the word "poise" on its own. Someone with poise exhibits confidence, composure, and self assurance, carrying themselves with grace and dignity in all situations. 

They know how to maintain emotional stability under pressure, move with balance and control, and have a strong sense of self-awareness, adaptability, and a respectful attitude towards others. Poise manifests from the inside out.

"MenoPoise" is a way of life. It's calm in the eye of the storm. Acceptance where acceptance never existed before. Quiet knowing and trust in your body. It's how we age with grace, vitality, and a healthy dose of knowledge.

What can I expect during the MenoPoise program?

I created this course to meet you where you are (with a generous helping of empathy), then guide you toward feeling stronger, clearer, and calmer again.

Over six supportive weeks, I'll help you  weave sustainable habits into your lifestyle, across five pillars that matter the most in midlife: Exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and self-care.

Inside the course, you’ll:

  • Move with kindness (and strategy): I'll give you a workout plan full of joint-friendly, progressive workouts designed specifically for midlife strengthening and happy hormones.

  • Nourish with ease: We'll explore simple, anti-inflammatory meal frameworks and gentle swaps that support energy, digestion, and hormone health.

  • Rest more deeply: We'll test out soothing evening routines and practical sleep hygiene that help you fall—and stay—asleep.

  • Soothe your stress: We'll workshop quick biohacks and nervous-system resets you can use anytime, anywhere.

  • Fill your cup: With the group calls and the community group, as well as weekly reflection prompts, trackers, and small rituals that fit real life, you'll find so many ways to feel- and supported.

Meet your host.

I'm Erika, a Certified Menopause Coach Specialist who has spent two decades as an expert in the fitness and wellness industry. I also hold certifications in Understanding Hormones, Programming for the Female Client, Group Exercise, and I'm a Heart Rate Specialist. And like you may be, I'm right smack in the middle of perimenopause myself. I've designed original fitness and wellness programming for big brands including Beachbody, Equinox, and more, but designing for THIS population has become my passion and my purpose.

I really understand the everyday struggle of living with menopausal symptoms. Being perimenopausal has given me a whole new understanding and empathy for my midlife clients- way beyond what I have learned during my certifications. I've taken everything I've learned from my years of being an on camera trainer, Head of Content, and nationally recognized expert, and created this program for you.

I know that the menopause journey is not one size fits all, and the cornerstone of my work is to honor that your experience is unique and deserves to be treated as such.

What does a Certified Menopause Coach Specialist do?

My scope of practice is to empower women and people with ovaries in their menopause journey in the pillars of exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress regulation, and self care. I take an evidence-based approach and practice PERSON FOCUSED coaching, which means I recognize that every person's experience is different. I do NOT diagnose or treat pain, dysfunction, injury or disease or prescribe specific diets or supplements to treat medical or clinical conditions. I am happy to refer you to a contact in my network if you need help out of my scope of practice, and work together as part of your team.

My certification is with Girls Gone Strong. They offer the world's ONLY comprehensive, evidence based coaching certification. That, paired with my 19 years in the fitness and wellness industry as an instructor, trainer, and producer, are why I am well-equipped to help you.
